Carpenters简介
卡朋特乐队（Carpenters），美国流行乐队，由理查德·卡朋特、卡伦·卡朋特兄妹组成。1969年，乐队发行首张音乐专辑《Offering》。1970年，发行音乐专辑《Close To You》，收录曲《(They Long to Be) Close to You》登上公告牌百强单曲榜冠军，获第13届格莱美奖”最佳当代双人、团体或合唱表演”奖项，乐队获得获得“年度新人”奖项。1971年，发行音乐专辑《Carpenters》，诞生两首亚军单曲、一首季军单曲；专辑获得第14届格莱美奖“最佳流行合作”奖项。接下来，他们发行了《A Song for You》《Now & Then》等音乐专辑，诞生了《Top of the World》《Yesterday Once More》等热门单曲。之后，因工作压力大和家庭等原因，乐队发行音乐的速度开始下降。1973年，发行精选辑《The Singles: 1969–1973》，在英国官方专辑榜获得了17周冠军。1975年，发行音乐专辑《Horizon》，收录曲《Please Mr. Postman》是其最后一支美国冠军单曲。之后，乐队仍旧发行音乐。1983年，卡伦因厌食症去世，乐队解散。卡朋特乐队的音乐轻松活泼、歌曲的编排严谨、朴实无华，妹妹凯伦平和、优美的嗓音融入到了哥哥理查德精准悦耳的音乐编排之中，在20世纪70年代流行华而不实的流行乐、摇滚乐大背景下脱颖而出，成为那个时代具有代表性的音乐人，获得了3首公告牌百强单曲榜冠军单曲、12首前十单曲、15首公告牌成人当代单曲榜冠军单曲。在短短几年内，他们以独特的风格影响了世界流行音乐领域。
